The scorpion EXO 900 has an optional electric visor that plugs into to use on a snowmobile electrical system. Seriously wanting one.
Puck - I don't know what helmet you wear but they make a pin-lock anti fog visor for many of the Shoei helmets. It is essentially a second layer for the face shield and it does prevent fogging. However, if you wear glasses, they will still fog!

Here is an example -

I started riding this week on my new to me shadow and the weather in the morning has been sub 50. No problem here although I don't see many others on the road. I might need thicker gloves if it drops close to freezing but otherwise it is great, much better than riding in 100 degree heat IMO.

Same here... I've ridden in the low 20's, for short distances, and made several hour-long rides in the past few weeks in the low-30's. A couple weeks ago, I was running 70 on the parkway and the misting of rain turned to sleet... that was scary, but the roads were still too warm to cause a problem and it changed back to a misty rain within a few miles.

Coldest trip I've made so far... back in February I rode for about 15 miles with temps being 18-deg that evening. My top-speed was only 45 or 50, too. Other than very cold fingers, it was a great ride! Plus, you gotta love the looks you get from cage drivers when they see you pull up beside them at a stop-light or you pass them on the highway when its that cold out

Good gloves are the key for ME to staying warm (bought heavy, windproof insulated gauntlets for snowmobiling)... but warm layers, fleece neck-cover, FF helmet, wool balaclava, good gloves, insulated boots, and leather top-layer keeps me on the road. If/when my hands do get cold... I just pull over and stick my gloved hands next to the engine for a few minutes... warms me right up

Ok, so I think I'm about to admit defeat. It was 40 this morning, with a very stiff wind, driving my bike back from the shop. And it was COLD. My fingers and legs were frozen. I don't have cold-weather gear and don't think I'll be buying it this season. So, I think I might be done for a few months ...

I use my insulated hunting coveralls when it gets below 35. I can wear long johns under my pants until 35 then they aren't enough. I have a balaclava I use around my neck. My Scorpion EXO-900 does really good keeping the cold wind out. Much better than my Scorpion EXO-700.
I have an Cortech GX jacket that has an insulated zip in liner and that is pretty warm until 35 degrees as well once the insulated coveralls come out no more riding jacket.

I commute on the bike and so far, it had only gotten down to 35ish on my morning commute. Afternoon usually warms up quite a bit so that it is low 60a or mid to high 50s. I don't have any issues so far except that rain kind of sucks when it is cold ... More for visibility and traction than anything else though. I bet having a windshield would help but for the must part I like riding without one.

i can ride comfortably down in the mid 30's and really like the brisk mornings. My commute is about 30 min. so before i take off i check the weather for the day and make my decision then. If the temps are going to be dropping through out the day and the winds are going to be increasing all day....20-30 mph, i will drive the truck.(so boring)..
