I'm comfortable at 40+ and while I think I won't go below that, things could change. I remember when I was living in Minnesota. My first winter I thought I was going to die when the temperature hit 0. 2 months later I was walking around with an open coat at -13.

The COLDEST I ever rode in was 5 degrees F. I started my tour of duty DEC. 31 at 8:00PM 15 degrees and ened said tour at 4:00am 5 degrees...
Temps don't stop me from riding snow & ice DO also sand & salt stop me from riding even if it's 80 degrees...sand & salt are CANCER to a bike & it's chrome & paint...I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cold & HATE HATE HATE the heat & humidity,,,your NEXT poll should be what HOT temps will you NOT ride in LOL ... |

Mid 30's in the morning when I go to work, but I still ride everyday! The wind can be a little rough first thing in the morning after crawling out of a warm bed! I have ordered a batwing fairing and a 9 inch windshield so hopefully with that and the clothes I wear it will be more comfortable. Anyway stay warm and ride safe!

My theory is this. If the road conditions are safe I'm riding this year. If people can ride snowmobiles in extreme cold why not a bike. The looks are priceless. Today I saw a man wearing more clothes then me and he was in a car. It's not even cold yet. 30 degrees this morning.
