I watch the weather for possible snow and ice but otherwise...I ride. It was 18F the other morning. I have gotten stuck riding home in an occasional snow but if it's fresh dry snow...it's ok.

So yeah...I ride.

i don't ride under freezing.

black ice sucks. TN drivers suck worse.

rain/water and freezing temps are the only things that stop me from riding

About 68...I HATE cold with a !&$@? passion and no amount of "thrill of the ride" is worth being in the cold agony I have put myself in before.

It was 12* on my ride to work this morn. My commute is only 6 miles. Last Friday, I did about 50 miles in 18* temperatures. But once it snows I am done.
Both my bikes head to the basement then.

As long as the roads are clear and dry, I ride. I have not ever winterized my bike and put it away. Usually I can get in a couple rides a week throughout the winter. Temps here pretty much stay above 0*F - can't say what I would do if it consistently got colder than that.

I rode to work this morning and is was 34*. I have a freezeout undershirt, insulated overpants, and my Army issue nexl gaiter and Gor-tex boots. They only things that got cold were my hands and feet. I need some electric gloves. I will ride as long as the roads are clean of ice, snow, and salt.

He did good! Along with the "winter" tires...he should have invested in some motorcycle tire chains! With snow like that...they'd work great!

This is how I feel. I can always layer up for the cold, put my hands around the engine at stop lights, etc. When is really hot, it is just miserable.
