Last weekend here in Ky. we had some beautiful weather to ride in. I had the opprotunity to take a 180 mile round trip ride thru the Ky-Barkley lake areas and it was AMAZING!!!! The sky was blue bird blue/no clouds, the water was a beautiful greenish color, the trees were amazing. No heat and few bugs and very little traffic made this the best ride of the year.....GOD BLESS and be safe.

Someone wrote, on another thread, about there being a Zen-like quality to riding in the colder weather. I couldn't agree more. This morning, leaving my house, it was 31* and the air just had that crisp, clear feel to it. My ride to work is about 40 minutes and as the sun was coming over the horizon it was casting this golden-colored light on everything. Trees, buildings, anything touched by that light appeared to be glowing and were contrasted against other objects which were still in shadow. I would not have wanted to be anywhere but exactly where I was in those moments.

I've been able to ride every morning this week, to and from work.
The parking at my work is the worst, folks literally have to walk a block from the parking areas to work.
I park my bike about 20' from the door to the building.
