If I had just bellied up to the bar and purchased my Gerbings Hybrids to start with I would be just about money even. Went through about 5 pair of "wanna bes" and cheaper gloves trying to keep warm.
Used mostly on a 40 mile commute in the mornings. Nothing I tried kept my hands warm when the temps got below 40° and I was out in it for 40-45 minutes.
