Looks like they are also listing the GW F6B as a cruiser and touring bike. Interesting though I'm not sure how well a compact fits as a cruiser.

I love how they FINALLY came out with the classic looking CB1100 (i.e. made it available in the USA)!!!
![]() ![]() You know... I just might have to seriously look into the CB1100... It just screams "old school" to me! What do you think?

I like the looks of the F6B. Looks mostly like a solo tourer.
What's up with Honda's naming scheme? They have a half dozen CB variants ranging from street, adventure to sport... CB1100, CB1000R, CB500F. And lastly, why are the CB500X and NC700X so close in terms of CCs? They both seem like the same type of a bike to me, so wouldn't it have more sense to have the NC in the 900cc range? The new F6B just looks strange to me... it's a GW, but without all the things that make it "LOOK" like a GW... what were they trying to accomplish? What I see is a GW that someone stripped to the frame and decided on a sport-bike hybrid or "street-fighter" motif...
What I'd like to see is is Honda bringing back the smaller version of the Gold Wing... why they decided the Silver Wing should be a 600cc scooter is beyond my comprehension... I could really get into a Silver Wing with a 4-cyl in the 900-1300cc range... something that size would certainly be usable in-town, fun (and capable) on the back-roads, and would be just as versatile on the Interstate for light-touring. I do like the CB1100... love the classic look, but don't love it enough to run out and finance one anytime soon |
