Diavel Strada 2013 - Ducati Billed to have 161hp out of the box. My death will be glorious.

It will be difficult to resist because it's almost irresistible.

The Diavel falls about 50 stock ponies shy of your goal then, and about 150 modded ponies.

You need to be looking at a Gen-2 VMAX or ZX14 if that's your goal

The new CB is a beautiful bike, however the Big One was also a beautiful Honda and it didn't sell well here in the States. For some reason Standards are a hard sell here.

more like 21 stock ponies, the biggest problem for me anyhow is the seat height. I find it necessary for my feet to occasionally touch the ground.

Never mind I just got that you were not comparing and you're just saying it's your next bike. Sorry got lost in CB chat
Yes, in a perfect world, I would buy all three bikes and keep the stratoliner and the shadow. One of the reasons I haven't bought a bike before now is that I can't stand to part with either of the bikes I own now.

The Gen2 max has about 40 on the dyno per Cycleworld's head to head last Sept. The ZX-14 is considered king of the strip so I estimated an additional 10 on that but don't know the numbers for sure. There's also the mighty Hayabusa to consider as well, but it's pretty firmly 'middle-of-the-road' when talking that class of bike now.

Is the Diavel friendlier to shorter riders?
