It's good to be back after the hurricane!
The bike stayed dry so I'm happy, I need to get a seat on my bobber and I really can't afford much. It's a softail so I don't need a seat with springs but I think it would be cool to have. I am wondering if anyone has put a metal seat on their bikes and what's the cheapest way to do it. I really need to get a picture on here... |

I have a metal seat on mine. Scrap steel I had laying around. It's about 1/8" thick. Made a template out of cardboard and cut it out with a hand grinder and a cutoff wheel. Bent it in a vice. No springs, rigid frame, well, it's called a short chop.
