I have grooming supplies at work to groom after my ride to work. Being military they hold us to certain standards. Plus I hate how my chin strap irritates my neck after shaving. Plus gel for the hair, don't want my helmet getting all nasty inside from the gel.

I have had the buzz cut for years mostly because its easy to keep. It also helps avoid CPAP hair. Adding the helmet just makes it worse. However, I am thinking of leaving the hair short but letting my beard grow out because my face is freezing in the morning. That should make for an interesting look.

The good news for us bikers is ripped jeans are still in fashion.. cept ours are cheaper then what the kids pay for because they rip naturally.

Axle grease in fingernails? Pens. pencils, and small screw drivers will help you dig the crud out.

Forget about Old Spice, Axe or any of that store bought stuff.. dab some hi test behind your ears, and perhaps a splash on the pecs.. that will drive the ladies wild.

Showers.. As with everything else this is but a guide.. some bikers shower everyday.. I think that is overkill.. some others once or twice a year.. fine if you are the severely anti social type..not so much if you like the company of other people, especially the soft curvy female type of company.

Grit and grime is NOT abnormal..most bikers being as one with nature as they are understand this and as such they know that leaving a layer of grime on them for a bit is naturally beneficial I mean science has shown that getting " dirty" builds up the immune system. So for most of you once every other day is fine, however riding through light rain showers , don't count..A full scale thunderstorm? Take a day off!

Lol at crazydave's dating tips.

After a thorough soaking, I love a hot shower to drive out the chills.

Dating is another matter entirely.. every red blooded biker wants to find a mate.. whether it be a minute mate or a life time mate is a matter of personal preference... I prefer the latter.. get one train her properly and life is grand ( oops I let the knuckle dragger in me out ) Seriously, both biker men and biker chicks as a rule like constants in our lives.. we like the biker to start everyday, we like the feeling of tearing down a familiar road , and we like the connectivity that a close exclusive relationship gives.. but it's hard to get there when you are yelling SHOW YOUR **** to every chick that walks by.. We forget, we are BIKERS, dark, broody, bad boys in need of fixing ( and there is a chick out there that thinks SHE can fix YOU ). Play on your strengths instead of blatant vulgarity.. unless of course that's working for ya I guess.

Ya know Dave , I tried brushing the hair after a ride. But there is not enough on the fenders and tires to make it worth my time.

As for my own hair, hell I have been married for 40 years. So who gives a ****. I is Wut I is.
