I had to sell my 2010 Phantom last year and may be picking up a low mileage (800 miles) used 2011 Shadow Aero 750.Any one finding any problems with these bikes that I should be aware of ?

My 11 Aero hasn't garnered any recalls, and I've had no other problems with it either.

The shaft drive makes it impossible to put a 240 on the rear end. And I find it hard to find anything about it good enough to leave well enough alone, The frame, engine and final drive, rear end are all that is still stock.... LOL

had and rode a 04 750 aero for about 4,000 miles give or take. never had a problem with it.

Only things I've had to do with my 08, besides basic maintenance, is headlamp bulb and starter switch rebuild. Oh, and the stock seat had to go to save my butt.
Be aware, though, that accessory mods may be addicting and may cause uncontrollable smiles. |
