My first bike was a wrecked, 1976 CB500. Got it in 1980, I was 14. Rebuilt it into a, road racer, over the next 2 years. Lost it over a cliff two years after that. Started riding dirt bikes and minibikes when I was about 5. Could ride dads Sporty when I was 7, by myself, had to stop next to the curb so I could put a foot down.

1974 Honda CB360T.
Mine looked like this one (image lifted off eBay Motors), except mine didn't have the ridiculous high back sissy bar. The model below is a 1975. I ran the sh** out of mine all those years ago!

I (sort of) learned on a 125 CZ motocross bike, but the first bike I owned was a 1975 Kawasaki KZ400. It was the blue and gold one, not the red and gold (the only two choices). It had an aftermarket seat, 2 in 1 header, and ridiculously tall sissy bar. After three months I plugged it into a station wagon.
I rode from 1980 to 1985, and started again this summer.

My first motorized 2-wheeler was a Solex moped. I was 14. At 47 (three years ago), I bought my first motorcycle, a 1982 GL500 SilverWing. Also owned a 1982 CB900 Custom before buying my current Honda VT1100C3. I've been hooked on riding ever since.

The first bike I rode was a little Yamaha 80 dirt bike back in 1975-1977. It belonged to a friend down the street. My first street bike was a Honda CB360. I really can't remember if it was a 74 or 76. It was a really fun bike though! Sent from my iPhone using Motorcycle.com Free App
