My first bike was a 1978 CB750K, with 38000 miles on it. I got it new to me in 1985. What a great bike, sweet ride, almost bullet proof, right up until it caught fire about 8 years after I got it. My current ride is a 2006 VT750CA. Great ride, even better for killing deer, found that out when I hit one a month ago. Bike came out of it ok, few bent parts, but nothing serious.

70's Yamaha 60 Enduro four stroke. Rode the snot out of that and loved outriding two stroke 80's.

Then, much later, XS650s. They force you to really understand charging and electrical systems, because something was ALWAYS going wonky with them. Every time I had troubleshooting a problem down and was sure it was a carb related issue...it was something electrical.

I enjoy my VT1100 but I do miss the XS.

72 CB450 just like above, same color too. Loved it for about 30,000 miles.
