Default Has anyone dealt with these suppliers?

I've been comparing prices on saddlebags and, not finding the ones I want at the dealers I usually buy from, I came across some decent prices at these two places, which I've never dealt with before:

classiccruiser.com
and
4wheelonline.com

I've read reviews and, to say the least, they're mixed. I'm also guessing that people who are angry (usually regarding an item out of stock after ordering or delayed shipping) are more likely to post their frustrations than those who have had a good, and therefore, uneventful buying experience.

So...

Any comments?

Thanks.

I ordered something from classic cruiser a couple of years ago. I don't remember what it was or anything about the process. If it was bad I'm sure I have a strong opinion.

I've ordered from Dennis Kirk many times - all great experiences. Fast shipping, great return policy, items well-packaged and arrive in perfect condition. If I place an order on a Tuesday, it's at my door on Wednesday (of course I only live 100 miles from their location).

I stick with Jafrum and RevZilla - no complaints whatsoever.

I think there must be some kind of stick thread with suppliers listed... IMO cuz i see threads like this popping out once in a while.

Just remember their Xelement brand does run small. Order a size (or two if you are a larger guy) over your normal size.

I'll second the leatherup.com nomination. They even include a return form in your package should it be needed. Just send it back and your credit card will have the refund on it a couple days after they get it. No questions asked.

RevZilla is excellent.

CruiserCustomizing is really good, but some items that are out of stock are not listed as such.

IronPony is also another really good source with quick shipping. I went to their store in Columbus OH recently... OMG.. Imagine a motorcycle accessory store the size of a Wal Mart... stuffed to the gills. I left with a lot less $$$ than I had when I went in.

Thanks for all the info.

I have an account with RevZilla. I ordered a rainsuit from them last month and the sale went smoothly. There are a couple of other places I've dealt with before, too.

Unfortunately, none of them carry the particular model of Willie & Max saddlebags I'm interested in, and that's why I asked. J&P Cycles did...last year...but they're not carrying it this year.

So far, customcruiser.com has the bags I want at the best price. Winter is here (first snow now in progress ) so, if the worst thing that can be said is that they may be slow on delivery...I can wait. Especially if I can get them at a good price.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet, tho...

Incidentally, I have a pair of Willie & Max saddlebags on the bike now that I'm happy with. I didn't buy them, they were on it when I bought it. They've been bulletproof, but they're annoyingly small. If I ever get to ride as far as Sturgis, I'll want something bigger.
