Are you a group rider or lone wolf? 99% of the time I ride alone,once in awhile I'll ride with a small group,6 or less. I don't care for larger groups. I think they are unsafe and a road hazard!

I was director of Chapter "O" touring riders seversl years back. We always had big groups rides. But now I ususlly ride alone or with 1 or 2 friends, Big group rides I can do without now.

I haven't had the chance to ride with more than two other bikes. I usually ride alone.

Almost always I ride alone.
Fine with small groups; right now I don't think that my skills are good enough to be in big group. And since I don't want to be a hazard I skip attending large group rides.

Lone rider here....

But let me be clear, I'm not anti-social and I don't really mind riding with others. I've nothing against MC clubs or the people who ride with them.

It's just that I tend to ride off when and where I want and I just rarely find anyone who's going my way.

As far as safety in group rides goes, in my own private little version of reality, where I spend a lot of my time,

every vehicle on the road is operated by a potentially unsafe rider/driver. I watch out for 'em and try not to be one of 'em.

I ride alone 95% of the time. Occasionally I'll ride with my brother or a couple friends.
Then we have our chapter rides, with up to 15 bikes.
I like a big group ride, but I don't go out of my way to ride with them.

Never understood the desire to ride in a group. Not that I look down on it or anything. It's just that if I ride I want to be unrestricted. If I want to be in a group, I'll take a car so we can talk along the way.

I can just imagine me dragging around 60 riders down a river bank so I can get just the right shot of that covered bridge I am looking for

Mostly lone wolf for me. I've done group rides in the past and I intend to so some in the future, but I prefer alone for the most part.
