It's expenses on car minus clear profit on a difference motorcycle\car gas expenses. The result is a sum of expenses which are positioned in "loss" or negative balance.

Hope that helped

Riding a motorcycle to save money is like having wild animal sex with that hot chick to procreate.. you may end up with the results you want, but that ain't WHY you are doing it to begin with

If your like me,riding is therapy! I would guess a therapist charges $100-$250 an hour! Thats a pretty big savings!

Absolutely agreed!

But look, i got into motorcycling because life gave me a good opportunity to be reasonable in explaining to my wife why i want to ride, first and main - it was my childhood dream since i was 14 or at least that's was the time i could remember my wish to have motorcycle; second - saving money - because we were having two choices: get car (and burden of credit) or motorcycle (and uncertainty).

In any given way if you decide to weight on scales of expenses motorcycle vs car - motorcycle will beat car. Even if you'll purchase both brand new.

I thought my motorcycle would save me money, but it's doing just the opposite (in a fun/good way) . . . I am an accessory junkie and am constantly looking for ways to upgrade my bike. I love riding and I love finding add-ons to personalize my bike (e.g. chrome radiator cover . . . the stock on worked just fine but the chrome one looks sooooooo much better).

Yep... I'm stopping my self by repeating mantra: I need money to buy new motorcycle... 1... 2... ... 10... I need money to buy new motorcycle...

Nothing like an inexpensive ride not like the old Studebaker.

I'm not sure that riding my motorbike saves me any money but I figured out a way. I prefer Glenmorangie La Santa single malt scotch whisky. Problem is it's $50 per bottle. But I've discovered Famous Grouse blended scotch whisky. It's not bad and is $24 per bottle. I figure I save $26 with every bottle of Famous Grouse that I drink. After 100 bottle I'll have a $2600 nest egg.
Try and argue with that logic!!!!
