Don't touch my woman, my dog, my guns, or my bike unless I tell you you can. Simple. It's called respect. I'll treat yours the same way.

I dont get it. You want to participate in an event, maybe you have been planning to be apart of this for a while, it truly is a good cause, but the day of the event the weather is too cold for you to want to ride your bike.
In this case then: 1. You should not go to the event? 2. If you do go, you should not wear your gear even though it is a bike event because you didnt ride? 3. If you do go and wear your gear you should not go within 5 feet of anyones motorcycle because you did not ride. Any other rules I need to follow if I decide to go to an event without my bike for reasons that I would probably never even tell you if you show up. Also do these rules apply to my wife since she is not riding but merely a passenger. I mean if someone should happen to take a photo of her near someones bike in her gear well that would just be posing wouldn't it? By the way, I am not serious about anything I have typed above. I do believe that this is a pretty pathetic thread. It's funny how Petty some can be. However it has made a good read. |

I'm still amazed at the different people who ask me about my truck and snap photos. No matter who takes a photo, I still drive away in it. |

I can agree with you but the original post did not say the guy mentioned that any of the bikes were his. It stated he watched a poser pull up in a car and walk over to where the bikes and kids were and started getting his picture taken with them and the bikes. There is an assumption being made by the original poster that this constitutes the guy was pretending one of the bikes was his.
Second he told the guy that he did not pay his dues, so because you did not ride your bike you are not able to have your picture taken with the kids or any of our bikes because as he stated the poser did not pay his dues because the poster braved the cold with a couple other die hards and the poser did not. Reminds me of the third grade playground. Sorry, but if that is something you are worrying about when you go to these events you are missing the boat completely and at that point the poster no longer was thinking about the kids but only that he and a few braved the cold so the kids should only gather around those that rode in. That my friend is selfish and worse than a poser. (Perhaps, I am making an assumption here, sure sucks when the shoe is on the other foot) It should have been about the ride and the kids, and if this poser showed up and made a couple of them smile that is all that should have mattered. In the Poconos we have many that do these runs in thier cars and in full attire. I can never remember a time that myself or any of my friends had anything bad to say about it. They all pay the $10 or $20 to the charity and so they deserve to be there just the same. Now if the guy got on your bike or near your bike for the pictures and you didnt like it you should have just told him to step away from your ride. That is your bike and your right, but to call the guy names when you dont even really know him or what he is about? Get over it... Last edited by Bozzly; 11-28-2012 at 03:45 PM. |

all i can say is...
this so-called "poser" is gettin' a whole lot of attention. 12 pages, 120 posts.. mission accomplished on his part. attention was what he was after, right?
