I am not siding with the "poser". I ride off-road as well, and our "poser" following is MUCH larger than the MC cult(all the Fox,MSR,Thor,Fly etc. gear). I fully understand where the OP is coming from.
My point is, in a sense this "poser" ruined the OP's day, but not enough that he would say something. If "poser" was that much of an issue, guy should have stopped beating around the bush, and called him out. Other wise, live and let live. |

the OP did say something.. He said it was too cold to ride the bike and came in his car,,,so I told him " hey pal ya didn't pay your dues (ride in the cold like the rest of us) so step away from MY BIKE and have your picture taken next to your car, short, to the point, and yes calling him out ..just sayin |

And why is that? Are we to adhere to some sort of biker code that dictates what days we ride, how often, what we wear and such? Hmm, well weekends or days off from work are normally the only time I get to ride. Work and school days I'm hauling the wife to work and kids to school in the Suburban. I would ride 24/7 if I had no responsibility to others. So what's wrong with that I ask? Just curious, that's all.

Not saying there is some sort of code you should abide by, and I understand if company vehicles or wife/kids prevent you from riding. It's the guys that claim they 'live to ride, ride to live' and COULD ride every day but don't. It's the guys that wanna play dress-up on the weekends. The guys that are into it for the image (which hd totally sells the crap out of) and not the actual enjoyment of riding. The guy with the '07 decked out full dresser with 2,000 miles on it. That's a poser.
