Been all over the state of Alabama and have never had a issue. In fact, most on bikes give me the "wave" and the cops in cars even sometimes give a little hello wave. No issues anywhere.

Small Town, Tennessee, it ain't too bad. They just blue-light us for speeding, mostly. It's the crotch rockets that get us the bad rap where I live.
A lot of times i just get complimented for being 24 and riding a cruiser and not a rocket. :] The big CMA patch I wear tends to let them know I'm not much of a threat, though.

Texas is a MC friendly state and I have had 0 issues with any LEOs. But I only have been riding for 6 years and roughly 70K miles.

i had my bike parked at a gas pump while i went in to pre-pay and some dumb lady decides to squeeze her minivan past the bike to get to the other pump (rather than simply going around)
so i don't get any flak, but i hate when people think less of a bike because it's smaller. it gets a lane or parking spot just like any other vehicle.YEAH, THE WHOLE THING

I've been over a good chunk of east and central Texas and to Kentucky and have not had a problem. We have a good number of riders where I live now and so far things seem to be going pretty well. Now if your in a cage and that license plate light is out your almost sure to get a ticket.

i've had cops in TX pull me over twice to tell me my brake lights weren't working. no ticket or warning or anything. pretty cool. i've been racially discriminated a lot of times when driving a car n being pulled over but not on bike. also, all the bike cops i've passed by have waved at me first. so far so good.

In Delaware and Southeast Pa. motorcycles are so ubiquitous that it would be hard to find a LEO that doesn't ride. All the places I generally ride, Pa, Va, WVa, SC, NC are pretty motorcycle friendly. I've only been hassled once by a young fat woman in West Virginia. I waved at her and smiled and she went away. Selective deafness is a real asset in life.

Never had an issue besides heartless red light camera at one pressure plated intersection which ignored me for 2 light changes...
Also quite a few times when was riding in the night stopped near cops or FHP, got them nervous at first but after explanation that i want to rest in safe place had no problems whatsoever and nice chat. |

Back in about 1972, a buddy and I were stopped by LEO in a small south Texas town for no reason other than he knew we were not local.
We were riding Honda 450 and 500 stock and were there on a temp work assignment. He told us they didn't like our kind in his little town. Times have changed. That would never happen these days.
