If you have read my other posts then you know I have been looking for a group to ride with. Met some PGR's today and they were real nice folks. I am also interested in FORR. Have any of you had any dealings with them? Good group or bad group?

Don't know anything about them, but you could check out Southern Cruisers and see if they have a chapter in your area. Just because it says Southern, doesn't mean there isn't one as we have chapters in other countries. For example the main site shows there are seven chapters in Illinois. Heck, they're even up in Maine.
It's a riding club, not an MC. Can't speak for other areas, but the folks from the San Antonio (tend to be a little younger), Del Rio, and the State officers are a friendly bunch and enjoy getting together. Many of the do rallys, etc., and get along fine with the MCs in the area. Make sure you understand the difference between a riding club and a motorcycle club. You probably already do, but it's always worth mentioning for anyone reading who doesn't understand. I don't have to show up to every meeting and every event. I can even blow off several if I want to and still be in the RC. We don't have dues, but we do have events and we support charity events and rallies for local MCs as well. In a true MC you make a very major commitment. So check out and see if there's a SCRC in your area. You can show up at a feed or a ride to "test ride the club" as some put it.
