The black Friday stuff has started coming in and I figure I'll throw something out for anyone who cares to read it.
2005 Shadow Aero Zombie clutch/brake levers ( $72 ): https://www.denniskirk.com/zombie/le...prd/574995.sku Kuryakyn skeleton hand mirrors ( $88 ): https://www.denniskirk.com/kuryakyn/...prd/397326.sku Ordered these last week and they arrived today. Zombie lever installation: One nut, one screw, put lever in, one screw and one nut. Just that easy. Although, I did have to slacken/re-tighten the clutch cable at the top adjuster. Mirror installation: I had some trouble getting the old mirrors to break loose, but some penetrating lubricant and 15 minutes took care of that. Be sure to get the correct post attached to the mirrors. There is a left handed thread post in the package for use in some other bike. Bolted right on, no clearance issues. Zombie level fit/finish: The lever fits my, gloved, fingers just find and there is no binding. My only complaint with them is the back of the levers are concave and make them feel... hollow, for lack of a better description. Mirror fit/finish: The mirrors hold their position and provide a slightly wider area of view when compared to the round stock mirrors. They are not as tall as the stockers, though. Might take some getting used to. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. |

I was looking at those mirrors for my bike the lever/ mirror combo looks great on there. Nice job should do a wider shot of the handlebars to see how they look from the front

I'm going to be getting the levers as soon as our local shop has a no tax day (13% Savings). I like the look of them and I'm ready to retire the fringes on the original levers which Iv'e had for years. I agree with your review about the back side of the levers though. They could have made them solid IMO but thats not going to stop me from getting them.

Dorf, at first glance I thought you had some sort of clear cover on your motor or an open clutch, until I zoomed an and saw that your chrome is so gat-dang shiny its a perfect reflection of someone's car wheel.
Impressive. |
