Been riding for all of a month now, and Lord willing I will never not own a bike again.

I ride mine just for the sheer enjoyment of riding a bike.Been a 2 wheeled lover since I was 12 yrs. old and it's only gotten better. When I got my first (and so far only) street bike,I used to ride it to work as much as possible.Got another one for the wife, and now it's also a common denominator for both of us.Also a motocross fiend,so for me it's just FTW!

I have always been and will always be a truck guy but 14 mpg in my Dodge put me in a situation where I get a bike to reduce gas costs or sell my truck and get a more economical car. Since I'm posting here, you can guess which way I went. I never expected to enjoy it as much as I do but I ride whenever I can...it's my crack addiction!

After my car blew it's engine at 232,500 miles, needed a new vehicle. With a 100 mile round trip to and from work everyday need something good on gas. I was still getting 33 mpg in the car. Much to my surprise, my wife said I could get a bike. Been wanting a bike for years. She has never been a big fan of 2 wheels, but after going to MSF course and following me riding she has relaxed. I told her if all I had to do to get a bike was blow the engine up, would have done it 3 years ago.

I was hashing over the tightness of money with my dad and that even if I turned the bike in I'd still need transportation. He surprised me when he something like, "No, you aren't going to do without your bike.", or words to that effect. Even though he tried to talk me out of it when I was ready to get it, after telling me I needed to get one to commute for a few years earlier, he quickly saw what it meant to me to be back on a bike after so many years off one. I guess he remembered how much I was joined to that old Sears 106 back when I was a teenager at home. He even made the comment not long after I got back to the bike that I seemed much calmer now that I was riding again. As far as my old man is concerned he figures I will be on a bike from now on. Good roads and rides to ya and may you always have a ride to straddle.

Both pleasure and commuting. Dad had an old Kawasaki I couldn't ride. I couldn't touch the ground. He got rid of it to get his truck fixed. Perfect reason for a new bike that I could ride too. Talked him into going bike shopping, found the one I wanted, took my msf course, and got my license all in about 4 days. I love riding. I ride as much as I can with 4 young kids.
