Went for a ride today. It was a beautiful 73 degrees and sunny out so I decided to make the trek to one of the two covered bridges left in North Carolina. About a 200 mi. round trip.

i went on what was supposed to be a 2 hour ride with some friends from church. We left at 10:00 and i arrived at my house at 4:30. It was a beautiful day here in Ky. as well. It was partly sunny, 71 degrees and very windy. It was a great day to ride. I LOVE KENTUCKY!!!!!

It was a beautiful day here yesterday and went out for a ride as well. I was on my last stretch of the ride doing 45mph and a German Shepard decide to run out of the bushes at me. Wow by the time I seen him and swerved I just missed him by 8 inches. That was my first encounter with a dog.

Thanks Shadow rider....1150, I'm glad you were able to avoid that dog I imagine that one was big enough to cause some problems!

I was actually able to get some more photos to upload. The little critter decided to join me at the bridge. The rest are the dam and nearby bridge at High Rock Lake.
