Sorry guys ( and gals if any were reading ) It's just a teaser. It is good to know that a story that contains little or no vulgarity, blaspheme or explicit sexual descriptions can hold the interest of adults these days.

I really need to hunker down and put that book out. I imagine it as a mish mash of poems, CrazyDavisms , short stories and random reviews of some local spots... I need to learn to be my own writer/photographer/ proofreader ( yeah right) editor, layout person, and publisher ( well we shall see about the last part) . I ain't too proud as to refuse advice though.

A friend of mine publish her own book, not a easy task not has she made any profit, all money made goes back in to print more but it also cost her nothing but her time in the end and she has the pride of knowing her book is out there, I however got a free copy lol. Good luck to you Dave, It's a good start to a story.

Good luck. My biggest problem is laziness. Got stories, poems, a few photos left over, and a couple of worlds I've been carrying around for a decade or more with a few chapters of each written.

You should go ahead and follow that tale out though as a short story or even novelette. You can always go back and build it to book length later. It worked for Louis L'Amour and friends.

Good Stuff Dave! your talent is much appreciated! You have me hooked on this one.

I kind of reminds me of an old BBS that I belonged to in the Earlie 80's. It was started by a Buddie of mine in Cambridge Mass. Nathan Olson, May he Rest in peace! He started what is now called a blog. The Internet was very different then. Forums as we know them did not exist.

His "Blog" was called the never ending story. What he did was start a story, then set rules, No profanity/Sex, or whatever he wanted. Then he would allow Every one to contribute to the story via E-Mail... He would then chose/Edit your Purposed addition, Give you the By line, and post it to the board.

It started with only 10 or 12 of us, and grew to over 20,000 people.

It became an interesting diversion to the normal reading of the day. It eventually died with him. We ( several of the regulars ) tried to take over the BBS and keep it going. However, Something in the Contract with the hosting providers made that Impossible . Hence the books were lost and gone forever.

Now there is the availability of on line publishing. You can submit your book to be Published on line. The companies that provide that service, get profit from hosting the work. They take a small % from the sale of the book, and send the remainder to you.

Thanks for doing this one by the way !
