Thanks for all the feed back. Looks like I will have to wait a bit before I get one, the one I was looking at has sold. But I think this spring I am going to track one down and make the purchase. I personally like the looks of the bike and the trunk space is something I would love to have for my summer vacations.

A guy down the street from me has one and loves it. I personally don't like the all plastic look. Colour can easily make or brake the look. IMO.

If you like the Pacific Coast, look at the NT700V. Similar bikes, practical. The NT is a much newer model but didn't sell well at all. There are still plenty of new ones out there and all are discounted deeply. Those that own them by an large like them a lot. 55 mpg, cruise all day at 75 or greater, good luggage space.

I almost bought a Pacific Coast back in 1992. Looked like a good commuter bike.

Then I saw the ST1100 and out came my wallet.

Get a white PC800 then ride it while wearing a Star Wars Storm Trooper outfit. That should get some notice on the road. The look would match.

Does look like an interesting bike though and from reading around the net the guys who have the love them.

Good luck on the search.
