This is what I got for $14/day. Its very nice? Has a ramp and wheel chock built in and D-rings at all four corners for straps.
Pulled it with my Pontiac Vibe, which is a 1.8L Corolla drive-train with a wagon body(twin car to Toyota Matrix). A Civic should handle it. Sent from my cm_tenderloin using Motorcycle.com Free App |

Have you priced those things? Great idea but, damn. Over $1k iirc. I also have a Harbor Freight trailer. I believe it comes out close to $300 depending on what you use for the floor. Mine folds up and stands in the corner of the garage. Hardley know it's there. Little more expensive than $14 a day but I like having it around when I need it. Plus, I have an Explorer so uhaul won't rent to me.

I dunno about you, but I'm 6' 4". Cross country in in Honda Civic isn't feasible.

I use a Harbor Freight 4x8 tilting trailer for my bike. ZERO modification required. I just pull the pin of the trailer, it drops down, I ride the bike up onto the trailer it tips back flat, put the pin back in attach 2-3 straps to the bike and off I go. I have towed 2 HD's and my Shadow, at same time, on the trailer using wifes Sonata. Yeah that might be over the weight limit of the trailer, IDK, point is it works fine, for a less than $500 trailer. OK, I did add hooks for the straps, wheel chock/rail/ramp, but they were not required, just easier to work with. I also upgrades from the original 10" wheels to 12" and flipped the axle to raise the tailer , so I could tow it with the Jeep.
