Yeah Im gonna try the weather strip seafoam trick. I put lowers on the fairing and forks. I havent got to ride it enough yet to see if that fixed it. Just put them on last week.

I have a strip of weatherstripping around the headlight to solve that issue, still had the issue of my handlebars being over the hand protector's... Just got done here a few min ago with the trash can thingy posted earlier, turned out much better than expected and all of the mounting hardware is hidden behind the fairing so it's not visible from the front, worked out lovely.

When I moved the batwing, I had quite a lot of air coming up around the headlight.. (07 Sabre 1100), so I solved the air situation this way.
I bought a plastic cutting board.. thin material.. at the dollar store.. and cut it to fit around the headlight and punched holes to fit over the faring attachment bolts.. see pics.. It works perfect ![]() First I got the exact radius of the headlight at the right position so to cut the plastic sheet right ![]() Then I centered and punched the holes for the bolts to come thro.. bolted the fairing back on.. the insert is kept about 1/8 in above headlight so it don't scuff the chrome.

Personally...I like some wind. I am, after all, on a motorcycle. But the excessive "scoop" blast off the Phantom shield WAS a bit excessive.
