So I gave into the cold weather this year and got one of them god awful ugly Memphis Shades batwings for my bike to try and block some of the cold/wind. The part that is suppose to shield my hands is just about perfectly level with my grips tho which makes it seem like it's doing absolutly nothing... Any idea's on how to raise it up a bit without having the headlight hole become unaligned, or a way to attach something to the fairing itself to extended the hand shield up a lil bit? Any idea's yall? =)

No, they are in a fixed position bolts directly into the triple tree.. Only things I can come up with ATM is to cut out the headlight housing and just move the fairing up, or fabricate something outtah sheet steel, paint it black and bolt it on. Just trying to find something non lethal to the fairing unless I have to drill holes/cut it up.

If it's a M/S Batwing that doesn't go under the headlight, pick up some black foam weatherstrip with stickum and stick it inside the headlight hole on the fairing.
May not add a lot, but you can probably pick up 1-1/2" if you layer it and it'll seal out the wind from flowing through.

You might need lowers on your forks and a taller shield. The only air I get is from around the headlight and I am getting that rectified in the next month or so.
