Default Recommendations for Driver back rest?

I need some recommendations for driver back rest on an 04 Spirit 1100,stock seat! I had a nice Mustang wide touring seat with back rest on a Fat Boy but don't want to spend $500 on a new seat. Any nice back rests for $100 or less! I've seen a few on ebay. Not sure about the comfort and adjustability.

I had one of those cheap ones from eBay. Not real adjustable except for giving it a little bend, but it really helped and I enjoyed it.

If you have a 2 piece factory seat and would like to do some fabricating I have a spare backrest from a Saddleman seat you can have for the price of shipping.
You would have to make a bracket for the bottom of your stock driver seat for the backrest to slide into.

I looked at their website, interesting, I couldn't find a price list, do you remember what that backrest cost? I wonder if it would work with a Mustang seat?

I didn't find a price on their website either but based on some others I've seen,I'm guessing $2-$3 hundred! More than I care to spend for the amount of riding I do.

I didn't see a price either but I emailed for a quote. I'll let you guys know when they reply. A backrest & floorboards are the next things on my wish list.

Here's their reply...

Coreen: This model is $130 plus around $15 shipping in the lower 48 states. Harold

That's funny! I did the same thing and just got the reply! Seems pretty reasonable to me!
