IF I can throw my annual sale up on Craigslist and get $6900, I am either all in for an NCX700 ....or HD Dyna Lo if a low mileage nicely wrapped one shows up less than $10Gs. One is logical the other financial. I believe at the beginning of a climb out of recession the HD would make a great investment. I am seeing a lot of homes going up around here. cannot help but believe the gloom and doom of the "fiscal cliff" is all PR political posturing.

Love the 1300 but bored with it. I am buying next time for practicality in ride or simply finance. Harley will be back as the economy heats and they only make 250-300K bikes a year. So the pickings will be slim in a couple years when the "disaster does not happen and we pull out of whatever short term pain we find ourselves in

I rode a Honda 650 Enduro when I was in my late teens and early 20s as my main mode of transport. I enjoyed the hell out of it so those dual purpose bikes always appealed to me. That Ducati looks like something I could ride.
