I may be the odd man out here, but I have looked at Victory bikes. I think they are very well built and things like that, but daaaaay-um... They are hideously ugly!!!

Personally, to me, it looks more like a screaming eagle than anything else... but that's just me... Still a great looking bike...

No you're not! I am not a fan of their looks either.

Steve,
I'm sure they're as reliable as any Harley or Honda. I would explore the strength of their dealer network and see if that's going to be an issue.

As it just so happens, when Arlin (Ness) and I were hanging out together week before last.... Seriously though, did get a lot of info on how the bikes are put together and really the only maint point on the engines is the oil change. Unlike HD's, the oil circulates all through the entire engine, so for a V-Twin they tend to run much cooler and the engines are very reliable. They offer a 5 year warrenty, that says something.

They had some transmission issues early on but that has be sorted out. I know about a dozen folks who have owned them for some time and I have heard zero complaints from them, in fact nothing but praise.

My son just bought a 2012 Victory High Ball. He hasn't had it long enough to have issues, but seems like if there are any, the news would spread thru out the various forums like wildfire.
