Default No Riding Today in Minnesota!

Major snow storm here in Minnesota . . . latest forecast says 15 to 18 inches of snow. Looks like my bike will be sitting for awhile!!!

On a normal December NH day after reading that line I would tell you to take that bike of yours and ride it off that damn pier,, but I may just go for a putt myself

Send the snow my way. I've been waiting patiently to get the snowmobile out for a rip. Your lucky.

Bummer.

I've opted to sit out the last couple days myself. The weather is clear but in the 20's. I thought I'd ride yesterday despite it being 22 degrees but when I opened the garage door I saw an ice rink created by homeowners who haven't winterized their sprinkler systems and decided the potential for ice along my route wasn't worth the risk.

Today was the same only I came up to 3 other spot along my route that glazed teh street with ice because sprinklers weren't turned off or winterized.

Something I have to keep an eye out for also. There’s a Jack-in-the-Box near my house that used to run their sprinklers year round and on those rare occasions when it dips into the 20s here it would freeze over. The recent drought brought water restrictions that finally got them to shut it off but when it gets cold (IF it gets cold) I have to be cautious.
