Default Told my Shadow Sabre is too small!

I'm loving my 2003 Shadow Sabre but I have been told by my wife and a few others I make the bike look too small, or "is it a full size?" etc etc. I'm 189cm and 120kgs (6'3" and 260lbs) and I have very long legs. I noticed when I look in a shop window on the bike that my legs do stick up a bit. Is there anything I can do? Put a fairing or screen on? cheers

Get some forward controls, they will move your legs forward.

Have you considered putting some forward controls on it to stretch your legs out a bit?

If your legs are aching, maybe forward controls to help you stretch your legs. some guys here have them and they'll be able to give more info, including pros and cons.

I am 6' 4" 325 lbs and I ride a 02 1100 shadow spirit with 4" forward controls and floorboards and for me it is very comfortable, also streches my legs out.

Forward controls will most likely be your best bet.

It could be worse though, a friend of mine is 6'2" and weighs 375 and used to ride a standard 883 Sportster. Talk about looking like a mini bike!

you make the bike look small - not good.
bike makes you look big - not bad.

admittedly, my reply is inspired by the previous Haiku thread...

I am thinking crash bars and Kuryakyn Offset Highway Pegs for the same reason: I'm 6' 4", 225 and feel scrunched on the seat of my Shadow Aero. Also, my knees tend to cramp up on longer rides.

Forward controls will help a lot. I am 6'7" and 250#. The forwards were the first thing I added. The forwards that I have are 3 1/2 inches (Lightning Performance). I also have 3 up 1 1/2 inch pull back risers installed.
