So I know there are members out there that want to add some pipes or modify their pipes for (insert reason here). I don't want to turn this into a loud pipes debate. I just want to help members decide what route they would like to take. Because nothing is worse then going with a method then saying "So that sucks…" go out record your bike and post it up with size / year / and whatever you did to it.
Mine is the 2007 750C2. With cobra streetrod exhaust ![]() http://youtu.be/ZKGYh_64wTM Sent from my iPhone using Motorcycle.com Free App

I drilled the baffles on my wife's 05 750 Aero. She likes the look of the 2 into 1 pipe, so instead of spending a bunch of coin first, I thought I'd try it to see how it sounds. I was happy w/ the outcome, it's much louder and throatier then before, and didn't have to touch the jetting.

2004 Honda shadow aero 750
I de-snorkeled the intake Hard Krome pipes and dyno jet stage 2 like most videos of exhausts it sucks. It’s loud as hell. Don’t go with these unless you just want loud pipes. Side note: If you’re adding pipes just for performance (at least on the newer 750’s) don’t there is no cheap/real HP to be gained. Without diving inside the motor you might gain 2 hp. |

I have cobra straights on mine, 2 1/4 pipes. They were too loud for my taste. I like a bit more stealth, not "LOOK AT ME!!!"
I found some 2 1/2 inch baffles, modified them to fit in the 2 1/4 pipe and followed that with a lollipop baffle. PERFECT! I get compliments on the sound (not that I was looking for that) and the only noise I worry about it wind noise. I can't explain the sound, but I like it. I want to extend the pipe about 6"-8" so they exit behind the rear fender and angle out a bit. I'm considering making custom true duals. Many people ask why I spend money on it that don't really increase the value, (duals). I have the bike for psychological therapy so I can ride and tinker instead of paying a shrink to deal with my current issues.
