Default Poor man pays twice - again!

Will I ever learn this lesson? Always keen for a bargain I paid $87 on ebay for a Chinese windscreen. I got what I paid for. Poor fit, plasticy metal type fittings, thin screen almost like plastic wrap. Anyway now the proud owner of a National Cycle screen and very happy.

BTW - I have a cheap screen for sale - realllly good haha

But the opposite is not always true -- as a former BMW owner I know that paying too much is not a guarantee of higher quality. On another forum someone posted that he had leaks in his expen$ive Aerostich rain suit, but I paid less than $100 for my Motoboss outfit and had none at all in days of heavy rain.

Caveat emptor is the watchword...OK, watchwords.

It took me a while to really get on top of this in the Motorcycle world.

It seems in the bike world, at least to me, you get what you pay for is more true than out in the normal world.

When I save money - is buying what I want from a fellow biker off of a forum. Get the quality and the price break. Just takes patience and diligence.

Yeah, the Memphis shades screens are really expensive in oz. I wanted a batwing but around $700-$800 here
