I have to agree, it looks like a pimple on a pigs ass, and to be honest it worries me a bit because I wonder what else is wrong with it..

Yeah I don't know what the story is on that seat. It looks like they took a solo and just stretched it... no grab rail, no fender supports that I can see... I don't even know if that would work right for a passenger. It looks from the pic like the second any weight were on it it would just press down and rub the hell out of the fender.

John, a bike would have to really do something magical for me to consider purchasing it at any price if it wasn't fuel injected. I'm seriously that sick of messing with carbs and plugs and other such nonsense.

Not sure what seat is on it but this is what I find on that year.

I'm still trying to figure out why the tank has a Indian sticker on it. Plus that tank looks like it was hit with a golf ball on the top left side.

These bikes are fuel injected but of course you still need the sparkplugs to make it bang..instead of going suck, squeeze, bang, puff. it goes blow, squeeze, bang, puff...The seat looks really ugly but I may be able to fit a shadow seat.

I still haven't made my mind up yet but I am close.

The seat is stock and the reason it looked odd was the crash bars and the pannier brackets and the grab bar had been taken off for powder coating..

I saw the year and just assumed it was carbed. Go Kawi for being ahead of the curve!

Yeah but with EFI balancing the mix automatically and constantly the plugs don't foul up or need replacing unless you've got some serious issues. Unlike with carbs where you've got to be mindful of extended choke use and what not, and can't really dial it in as well as EFI can as conditions/altitude/humidity/etc all change how well the fuel is burning. No matter how awesome you are with choke use, they need inspection and replacement way more on a carb'd ride.

Ah that makes sense. The PC'd stuff is coming home with it I hope!

Grats on your new ride man, don't rush to pretty her up too fast. It's got a special kind of character.
