Got my bike in July and been trying to make it 'mine' since. Besides new tires I am not sure what I am gonna do next. Guess I'll just have to wait till ideas come to me.
Here's a pic of when I got it. ![]() Here it is now. ![]() Comments or suggestions welcome. Mark. Sent from my iPhone using Motorcycle.com Free App |

looks good. looks like you have hard mounted your bags.. which i'm all for. but they look to be at a weird angle to me.

In the picture, they look like they are slanted down in the front, but they really are not.

Yeah. I know. I don't like it myself, they look slanted. They are not though. I mounted em level on the bottom so I can bring home coffee. Lol. Have one filled with spray foam cup holders so I can fit two large Tim Horton's coffees. One for me and one for the wife. They are hard mounted btw.
I want to go bobber style and this is the only thing holding me back. The bags make the bike usable as a commuter otherwise I'd only get to ride for fun rides. Mark. |

Nice looking Ace. The bags do look like they'll only be level while riding down hill. Could it be that you drilled the holes in the bags flat on the ground? Then when mounted on the arched rear strut they become slanted out of level?

Or you could do something of extraordinary boldness, something that will make you stand out in any crowd of motorcyclists as a man who follows his own star no matter how lonely the path -- keep the bike absolutely OEM.
