I know a lot of people have had not so good to bad service from Craigslist and eBay. Well this last week I was very nicely surprised by seller bobjocycleco2009. I found some Cobra boards for my bike on eBay. The stars must have been aligned that night just right. A great deal as far as I was concerned. A couple days later they are at my door, impressive. The box was badly damaged; one complete corner had been split wide open. So I checked the package to find the boards look ok and found no hardware. Now I know I got a great deal to begin with and I do not believe the seller would ship a box like this. I emailed bobjocycleco2009 Asking if they sold just the hardware or if they had a list so I could go and find the parts. The next day I found three responses to my question. The first apologizing for the damage (which they did not do) plus to tell me they do not have a kit. And gave me the correct sizes of bolts and spacers I would need. The second email was the directions. Which I didn’t even think about at the time, and yes they will come in handy. And last email, they sent me the money to get the parts I need locally.
This took me by surprise. I have not had a seller go this far out of there way just to a customer happy. Sorry for the babble but I had to share. |

I would be willing to bet that if even two out four dealerships acted in that manner, the others would soon simply fade into a fading sunset! That outfit is truly AWESOME!

So my dealership as made some changes and wants my bike for a few days to look at the clutch slipping and the whole bike in general. If he finds anything that was their fault then they will repair it and eat the cost.

I had a bit of a trial trying to locate that merchant, (ebay hid the seller search in the "advanced search tab") below is a link to his ebay store. (For those as mentally challenged as myself) bobjocycleco2009 |

Since the mods merged the California section, I kinda lost interest. But when Facebook slows down I tend to merge back here just to see who is left. And currently all my scoots are on jacks. The wing blew another final drive, I got the parts, just not the time. Before I had the time but not the cash. The spiders have claimed the Shadow. And I imagine the ivy is trying to strangle it also. I wish you and your fam a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! |
