You don't understand man, they're like new (except for sitting with old fuel for 10+ years)

I wouldn't trust the first one. If, for some reason, the poster is telling the truth and nothing is wrong with it, I wouldn't trust something that's had that liquid sitting in it for 13 years with no movement.

Motorcycles are meant to be ridden. I purchased a 96 Honda shadow vt1100 with only 16xxx miles. The bike is in show room condition and i get comments all the time about my bike. BUT....the bike had not been ridden for a while and all the liquids had to be changed, carbs cleaned, fuel filter, oil seals , new tires, ect...ect. The bike is not hurt, but you better get ready to spend some extra cash if your not a handy man.....something to consider when buying an older bike that has not been ridden much. ..........Good Luck and Merry Christmas.

Not to mention all the seals in the motor and forks are probably dry rotted and will start to leak.

Others made the point but a bike (or car) which has been sitting for 10+ years is nowhere near "brand new". Tires are likely dry rotted for one. And he does not say whether it was "sitting" outside under a tarp or inside - climate controlled or not. It makes a big difference. The plastic covers still on the pegs is a nice touch though.

Hell, people sell 20 year old Harleys for more then what they sold for new so why can't someone sell a Honda the same way.
