Default Great product & service from Forum member!

A few weeks back I was asking on the forum re: adding aux electrical to my wife's Shadow and received lots of great info. I also received an email from member Scrapdog2grand asking me to take a look the the aux electrical harness he makes. Once I took a look at his work and figured out what my time was worth to put the same thing together, I decided to buy his harness. I just wanted to report here that this harness is really well made. Wires are all covered in heat shrink not electrical tape, wire ends are stripped etc. Everything you see in the picture is included.

As you can see the power from the battery is fused as are the leads to your add-ons. This harness provides switched power to all the aux connectors, but he also makes non-switched ones. In fact, he'll modify however you want it I think.

I mentioned to him that I was planning on adding some bullet lights to the front and after a few emails back and forth, he came up with this harness for me, that I put in the headlight. It has a relay that is switched by the low beam so the aux lights will also go out when the starter is engaged just like the headlight. Also notice he added bullet connectors between the relay & low beam because I mentioned that I might want to add a switch in case I wanted to turn the bullets off.

I have no affiliation with this product. I just wanted to tell others like me who don't either have the time or knowledge to make something like this that this product is avail. in the US.

Besides, and just as importantly, I like to support forum members if I can.

Thanks Terry, pretty nice of you. I must say Terry is great to work with.
He went on vacation, so there was no pressure to come up with something for him on a deadline, makes the whole process go much smoother. And I tried to take into consideration any future add on like the main switch or problems he might encounter, so I included a few extras for him not pictured.
And Everyones positive responces are much appreciated. I'll be glad to give any of you a good deal. Just hit me up with a PM.

This is by far one of the best Motorcycle forums on the Web, And I have meet some great people, Ed aka MB-ED, Dean aka Toadshoney, Howard, some pretty great dudes I keep in touch with, and planning riding with again this Spring and Summer to come.
And even those of you that I have not met in person Terry, Gat, Canyon, CD, 93, CW, RKForest, KelKel has made a nice impression on me the short time shes been here (she gets s**t done), you cant leave out JOHN, and the rest of you not mentioned. Some of you I have share common views and interest, some of you I do not. But you keep it interesting, and I have the oportunity to see things from a different perspective, even though it may not be the right one.

Thanks and hope you all Have a great Christmas!!

Great post. Bookmarking this in case i ever need some wiring changes as i'm sold on the quality and professionalism of scrap without ever having communicated with him.

I had promised scrapdog2grand that once I finally got my wife's bike out of storage and installed the harness that I would post a picture. I guess I deleted the original pics from my album, so I'll repost those first:

Here is the switched accessory wiring harness with 3 fused accessory terminals. My plans are for a usb port, power to a set of bullet lights, and one left open for future use.

So I installed it last night...it took me about 5 minutes. As you see I have all the wiring tucked neatly under the band that holds the battery cover down and have spliced into the brown wire for the taillights to switch the relay.

I'll be installing the bullet lights with the second harness that scrapdog2grand made for me in the next couple of nights and I'll post pics of that as well.
