Thanks guys, I read a comment on here before I went to bed that was just uncool glad to see it was deleted, ya know there's a man on another forum I go to who's 19 year old son was killed in Iraq a few years ago saving his buddies. He commented how not many things make him smile now but pics of duke on the bike always made him smile, thats pretty special

I had four dogs, and one of my great delights was laying on the sofa watching tv with them all tucked around me (difficult as two were lab size). 3 yrs ago one of the big ones ran off and never came back..I searched for weeks and even now on my rides close to home if I see a dog that looks like him I'll stop.
Sorry for your loss, I know it hurts. Thanks for all the vids.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. He was a great little dog who loved to ride.

Sorry to hear about Duke's passing. Cherish the memories of your trips together and find peace in knowing that he really enjoyed himself on those rides. You could tell that for sure just by looking at him.

My Shegoes rode straight up on the tank. Those were the good times so I know your
pain. You had way more years than I did with my girl but it still hurts every day.

Total sorrow for you loss. I know the pain very well. But I simply cannot survive without my four legged children so I keep setting myself up for more of the same. The love and devotion that they give us is well worth the pain and sorrow of their passing. It gives us beautiful memories to draw from. He was a great pal as well as a great traveling partner. Your love of him will never leave you. Best to you and and let your heart mend.
