I hope you and everyone had a great day, it turned out to be a nice day to ride here, not only was it 68* but most of the students are away so very little traffic.... I wondered what you think of the vstar series, especially the stryker? Cheers mate. Wally.

We have rain..and cold... V star's are an American made Yamaha I love the V star 1100 which we call the Dragstar which looks good and is very comfortable to ride, We don't get the Stryker here and I have never ridden one, but of course the Vmax will always have a place in my heart, I love it's unpredictable way of riding, it skids, slides and doesn't hold the road very well, you can lean it round the curves and twisties all day long, then next day it will just slide off the road, but when you are boxed in by a big truck where the driver can't see you, all you have to do is twist the throttle and you are outta there like the wind.

My advice is to choose the bike that you can afford, if you spend more than you can afford on the bike of your dreams and have to pay too much you will want something else before you have finished paying for it..I know because I have three VT700's a VT1100, a Yamaha FJ1200 and a Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan Drifter..But no car..

John.

THIS is what I love about bikers. No apologies, no shame for the things they believe. Speak it proud, bothers. Merry Christmas and God bless you all.
