Default Hey Fairing owners.. question for ya.

Would you consider rigging this to your fairing? I see a duct system running nice warm air over the handlebars and your gloved hands.. what do you think?

I've actually been kicking around the idea of rigging up a heater core and some ducting...

It might work, but I would go for the sure bet and that would be heated jacket/gloves or maybe heated grips. I have the Gerbing heated clothing and it works really good.

I have one for my tent and you are better off with Electric/Battery powered ones.

I'm often baffled why some manufacturer of either motorcycle or aftermarket products doesn't come up with a way to capture at least a portion of lost heat from the engine/cooling system. 1500 Goldwings made a feeble effort in this regard, ducting some air onto the driver's legs, but it was pretty marginal.

It doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to do -- just some flexible ductwork from behind the radiator to behind the windscreen where it could be directed by vents. Since there is an unwanted low-pressure area behind the screen anyway the effect would be to suck warm air up.
