I don’t know what the coldest I’ve ever rode is but I’m sure 15F has me beat by 10 or so. A few years ago when it was about 25F I was sitting at a light trying to warm my hands by holding them on the rear cylinder when I noticed a Motorcycle Cop across the intersection from me. His was the only other bike I saw that morning. I didn’t want to take my hands off of the cylinder so I just nodded at him. He just smiled and shook his head.

I use to work with a guy that rode his Harley year round, and there were several mornings that year that the thermometer in my car said -20 degrees Fahrenheit. I was freezing driving home in a car, I could not imagine being on a bike in those temps.

I've said I'd be willing to ride under 40 but haven't had a chance to yet. The coldest days this year I've had to make stops a stores for bigger things than I can pack on the bike. Weather should work out for a ride to work tomorrow. At almost 65 15F is way pushing my comfort zone. That said on one long ride with a friend we only stopped for the night when our hands got too cold. No heated gear but.. I do have a birthday coming up next month.
