Broke my old record
Yesterday rode to a breakfast meeting w/ friends. The temp was 15F which is one degree lower than my previous coldest ride. My mistake was forgetting just how cold you can get in 12 miles, which by the way is pretty darn cold, and not bundling up as much if it had been a longer ride.
But I did manage to re-establish my he-manleness and even got a few approving nods and thumbs up from cagers who had no idea of just how much I wished I had pulled on my thermals and wanted to get home and off the bike. Anyway, Mrs. Gump has once again been proven right so note to self, dress warmer you idiot.

It doesn't get that cold here, but there have been many days I set off only to wish I'd been a little more thoughtful in my clothing choices! Congratulations on the new record!!!

I feel it, man.
Enjoy it while you can. Your threshold temperature will go up with age,  .We've had 14f* for a high and 3f* for a low, along with an inversion that holds the pollution in, for the last week. The problem is I work graveyard shift outdoors. It's been tough, real tough.

I thought about riding my bike to work that morning, but then I talked myself out of it because of possible ice on the road. That's the truth and I'm not going to change it.

you got me beat by 6 degrees but thats ok cause there is plenty of winter left for me to catch up
. last week on a real cold ride i got the wave from another bike and it felt a little better then those warm weather waves, its like a club inside the club. ride on brother

I hate those days. Of course my "cold" rides so far this year was 50's for an hour and a half. That's cold enough for me!! 15?!?! My butt would be in the cage.
