It was pretty much as easy as everyone, and all the vids, says. All that I needed was a 1 3/4" hole saw (already have a very good drill) and 12" extension for the front pipe. I like the sound (i don't want it to be too loud so this was perfect) and felt zero difference in power when riding.

Before I purchased my bike last month the seller was saying it sounded like a Harley and it sure did. However, I did not know until I watched a drill out video a few weeks ago that mine had already been completed as there were no baffles in the end of the pipes.

What style of bike? I saw some posts on this suggesting a 2in saw. When I tried on my phantom 2in was a little big.
