Ok here is my issue. Last year was my first winter with the bike. I don't have a garage or a shed so i keep it on my driveway. Last winter I stored my bike in a friends garage during the winter. So now for my problem. I have a friend who is willing to give my bike shelter for the winter but i am still riding. What are your thoughts on leaving the bike out on the driveway the whole season? I do have a waterproof battery tender and a cover(which i dont use too much because i find it holds too much moisture in). Any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks Dorf.

If your cover holds moisture in you will be looking at rust in the spring. Have you considered a storage unit? You might be able to get a short term lease or month to month rental.

Keep an eye on the local Craig's List..every now and then a small portable garage or even a bike barn shows up. The advantage with those is you can drop a 60 watt light bulb in there and that will kill the moisture issue. |
