Here are a few pics of the batwing installed. Bags will be probably a couple weeks before i get to them!
If you add a stereo are you doing anything to the charging system, Shadows are known for being weak in stock form, Down the road I might consider either a bat wing or a new bike but will also have to upgrade the electrical to add a stereo which I would LOVE to have eventually. Looks really good too, Like the solo seat with the wing on your bike.

Hey Dauntae,
not doing anything to the charge system. As far as i know everything should be good as the only wires i have are going straight to the battery and no where else.

I would look into it a little, even going to the battery if you install a stereo the charging system might not keep up, if you go for a long ride with tunes playing and stop for gas you could run the battery down and not be able to restart it, I'm sure you'll get a few responses of what people have done to upgrade it for a little better charge out of it.

I've had mine for about two years now and have no problem. I have a LED volt meter on my bike and the charging system seems to be working correctly. If you look at the power consumption chart for the Ace there is enough power to run the stereo. I do however plug my bike in to my charger while in my garage as the memory feature on the stereo will over time de-charge the battery. While on a seven day road trip my bike showed no signs of low power, with no charging other than the bike while riding.

I have a Ballistic battery running a 1000w Amp that pushes out about 800w to jvc speakers and it will charge. Keep a volt meter too. Alway great to have if you're worried.
Anyways how are you going to mount the bags? They look great!

I agree with superboyx very nice pic!

Going to mount with the mounting brackets I got from tsukayu. I may try and get them installed this week end. I will post more pics when everything is done.
