Default Sidecar rigs

I'm sure some of you have seen these before, but I love this thing. I'd like to have one for getting around in the winter...

I test rode one last year. Different feel thats for sure. Was scared to death of the breaks. Took forever to get the thing stopped.

Was it one of the new ones? Apparently all new models have front discs, plus drums on both rear wheels.

Pants to that pansy stuff - you want one of these:



All-wheel drive (when needed), V8 mill and the back bodywork is a bit of a Harrier jump jet.

Peter Egan does a good review of one in the Feb Cycleworld .
sound like a bike for side road though , it doesnt like going over 60 MPH.

He took it on a trip that Lindbergh took in the 20s on a 1918 Excelsior V Twin.

It was an 06 with Disk on the front. Stood on the rear and pulled al I could with the front. Me driving 240+ and the dealer at about the same.....Never locked up but it took forever to come down form 45.

there's a guy at my local bike night that rides one. he's lost count of all the problems he's had with it. but he does enjoy riding it.
