Default Iraq update

Folks, I have been busy of late. Yesterday we had an "open house" with our coalition friends across the runway from us! (We live with the Iraqis) It was a sucess, and many came over to see our few aircraft that they see flying around all the time. I was busy during the open house, cutting girders out of the concrete that were leftovers from hangars bombed out by....Us! They kept popping tires, so I was cutting them off flush with a torch, and caught fire...a few times. I found out my coveralls burn like a fuse, and that my nylon uppers on my desert boots can melt pretty well to skin. I only got a little burned, but am ok. I have midnight duty this week, so I may post more often. And to those who have sent us items, THANK YOU! they are like gold here. ANyone else interested in doing so, please PM me, and I will give you my addy, ok? Even a card, or a picture, or artwork by your child is precious, thank you.
I may even have found a bike to fix, and ride! It is a 125cc, but I have no idea of the make! I will post pics in another post, ok?
Youm Jameel!

Do be careful on that motorcycle when you get it up and running. How would it look you go fight the good fight in Iraq, surviving (admittedly self-inflicted) burns, only to go and kill yourself on a 125?

Careful with that torch mg! If you're gonna burn yourself at least to it on a hot exhaust pipe over here after a run to the Horse Heaven Hills with your family!...

Have fun with the bike (whatever it is). Hope you can find some parts to get it running.
