Default Anyone with Jafrum chaps?

I'm looking at the Jafrum chaps and the inseam says 34". I normally buy 36" in pants, so I'm worried that they might be a bit short. Do any of the taller riders here have a pair that can tell me if they run long?

Yes they do run long. Mine did anyways. They can easily be trimmed off if they are to long. No hemming needed for leather.

I had an extra 4 inches on my chaps and my wife had to trim an extra 5 inches from hers. But then your a tall one so you may not have to trim anything.

Hope this helps.

What inseam do you usually buy?

The local dealer has a pair that I know fits, but I'd rather pay Jafrum's price than the $150.

I bought the 23" leg chaps and they seemed to have about a 32" inseam or so, maybe a touch longer, which was fine for me.

I am typically at about a 32 inch inseam.

In as far as Jafrum, they do have a great return system. If they don't fit they will gladly take them back.

BTW, these are the chaps I ordered. They are a very heavy leather and are of good quality.

Well the chaps came today, and I'm very pleased with them. Quality seems very comparable to the ones at the dealer, and at a third the price. Length is perfect.

However, the sissy bar bag I also ordered was not in my shipment. I've opened up a case with them, so here's hoping the customer service is as good as everyone says.

Very glad to hear your chaps fit. I was a bit worried about that and figured if they didn't fit I would be getting a bill from you.

I am sure that whatever wasn't shipped will be taken care of. I know I had an item that got sold out and they refunded my money pronto.

Damn, was that an option? I should have had you pay for my chaps up front!

As far as the fit goes, like I said, the length is perfect. I won't need to trim them at all. If I had gone with their standard measurements, they might have been a little tight, but I added a couple inches, so they're comfortable.

Just got off the phone with them, and the t bag was apparently temporarily out of stock, or coming from a different fulfillment location. Something of that sort. It shipped on Monday. Threw me, since it was showing up on the picking ticket for the box yesterday.

Two thuumbs up for Jafrum.
